Winter Memories

So far we have about a 4.5 foot mountain of snow in our front parking area. Steve has spent hours with our new purchase of a heavy-duty snow-blower to try to keep the snow off our driveway and corner sidewalk. With the temps well below freezing he comes in with icicles hanging from his eyebrows and nose. It is a sad realization that we won't see the grass for many months to come (probably around April). Once the snow hits, it stays put.

The boys have been enjoying the snow and go out to play when they can. Everyday at recess Ben and his friends work on their snow fort, I guess that's what you do when the playground equipment is buried. (these pictures are taken before the last 2 storms we have had)

When we can't go outside, we play inside and the boys have wrestling and football down to a science. Sometimes Brooke gets to join in.

Ryan had his Preschool Christmas Program this past week, here's a taste of what you missed...
(the girl in the red shirt next to Ryan, Ava, LOVES him and even invited him to her birthday party, the only boy to be invited)
