End of Summer Updates

Steve celebrated his 35th birthday the day before he flew to Seattle for the last session of his Graduate School of Banking education. He decided to spoil the kids and took us all to Chuck E Cheese for his big 3-5. :)

The same day he flew out of Appleton, my parents flew in! We were sad to miss Steve, but we all looked forward to company.

The week before Steve left, we got word that we were moving to Cincinnati, OH to open a new FDIC field office. So, here the kids were helping pack boxes...

While my parents were here, Ben had his first official ER visit after he fell (was pushed) out of the tree house and claimed that he "couldn't see." This is where the panic sets in...

He got a CT scan and everything! Luckily he's fine, just had a concussion that has healed quickly.

A couple days later we all packed up and spent a long weekend in Door County!

The kids loved swimming in Lake Michigan, chalk coloring on the side walks, hiking through Peninsula State Park, playing tennis at the resort, and petting the animals at a Dairy Farm.







What a great end to the summer! I am so glad we were able to see it all before our move! I'm so happy we could spend that time with my parents too, so fun!

The night before school started I 'helped' Ben pull out his first tooth, after weeks of resistance. Now he's very proud of himself. :)
