I didn't think winter in Wisconsin was too bad. We really started off pretty nice, comparable to Salt Lake City. It was mid December before it got REALLY cold and I was pretty optimistic. However, now I know why everyone I have talked to says, "Just wait until Feb and March." The winters NEVER END!! It's almost March and our weekly forecast doesn't even put our high temperature up to freezing yet! We are still white in every direction and I can't remember what fresh dirt smells like, I never thought I would miss the smell of fresh dirt...
These are pictures taken of our backyard, our front yard still has a 5 foot mountain of snow from the shoveling. The boys are at least enjoying "climbing Mt Everest" as they call it and sliding down in their snow suits...

Bummer! it's 63 degrees here today. I think I'll take the kids on walk.
