He's pretty happy about his new Batman backpack.
I think Heavenly Father was making the transition easier for me by encouraging Ben to drive me crazy for the past couple weeks. However, I miss him by the time 3:50PM comes around and he's barely getting home. Here he is getting on the bus for the first time!! I can't believe how fast this day has come!
Today Ben had an accident at school, didn't tell his teacher, and sat in peed in clothes all day. Then he fell asleep on the bus ride home and the driver had to wake him up! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day, being in school all day is hard for a 5 year old...

Oh, poor Ben! A full day is a really long time for a 5 yr old! Is that how they do it in Wisconsin? The other day we were at the park with a bunch of kids from Clara's pre-school and she was too excited/distracted to remember to use the potty and she had an accident. Then she was so embarrassed she didn't tell me. Poor girl sat in her soaking wet undies and jeans for hours! All afternoon I'm going "what is that smell? Do you smell that?" I kept checking Edie's diaper for leaks!
