Wet Babies and Smart Boys

This morning the boys were asking for a bubble bath. They typically take showers every night, however, we were given Superhero bubble bath this past week from a friend of ours and the boys were excited to try it out. First Brooke had her turn in a regular bath, then Ben had a turn, and last was Ryan. While Ryan was bathing I turned around to talk to Steve and then... Splash! I turn back around and there is Brooke, back in the bathtub, clothes and all with a grin on her face.

I guess I got her out too soon!

I've discovered a game that the boys love to play, and I love to see how smart they are. I call it "the flashcard game" (original, I know). I get the whiteboard and each of the boys takes turns with a word and a math problem. Ryan is my 'reader,' he will read a kids book with almost no help and I can't even stump him with words such as 'refrigerator' or 'dictionary.'

Ben does almost as well on the reading, but loves math. He loves subtraction and addition, the harder the better (as long as it's under 20). It's great to keep them entertained while learning, and it gives me a break from listening to them fight.
