Easter Weekend

I can't believe I haven't written about Easter! We had a lovely time over Easter Weekend. Sat we went to an Easter egg hunt at a nearby church and the boys had a blast grabbing candy-filled eggs and loose candy on the ground.

I think Ryan ended up with over 2 dozen eggs, while Ben carefully selected from the loose candy all of the Tootsie rolls and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (he only came away with 2 actual eggs).

Thanks to being on Central Time we were able to do the egg hunt in the morning and still had time to get home to enjoy Conference! There are perks to being this far East! We spent the time between Conference sessions coloring Easter eggs as a family.

Sunday night we were invited to the Ogden's home for dinner along with the Stephenson family, both of whom are great friends of ours. The kids had an Easter egg hunt there and had a great time playing together.
Easter morning the boys woke up to look for eggs and found ZooZoo Pets from my parents and Easter baskets from the Easter bunny.

Brooke got a ZooZoo pet as well, but unless she can eat it, she doesn't have much interest...
