Ben's Birthday with Grandma!

Ben was lucky and got to have Steve's mom fly into town on his birthday! I took cookies into his class that morning and he had swimming lessons after school. Once that was over, we picked up their best-friend Ethan and had dinner at Burger King while Steve and Brooke picked his mom up from the airport. It was so great to have her hear for a week! The boys were so excited! They put puzzles together, read books, played games, and cuddled.

We ate like kings, especially Brooke, who found a love for guacamole.

We opened presents.

Ben is such a fun kid. He loves to play and run and goof off. He's creative and always thinks up elaborate plots for he and Ryan, and even Brooke to play. He says that his mom is his very, very best friend out of all 10 best friends that he has. I love that he is so excitable. He is amazing at sports and so fun to watch. He loves to exercise with us and tries to eat healthy. His teacher says he is doing very well in school, he is reading (though he's not a fan), and he loves math. He is growing up so fast, I can't believe he's six already!
