After a L-O-N-G winter here in Wisconsin, we finally have Spring! Yesterday the high was above 50 and the snow has melted! We all headed outside and enjoyed the sunshine that we haven't seen in about 6 months.
The previous week was our Spring Break, and the week before that, we headed to Chicago while Steve had some meetings there for work. I don't have many good memories of those weeks due to all of us being very sick for most of those 2 weeks. Two of the three days we spent in Chicago were spent in the hotel room.
Luckily they upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite and we had a great view of the city. On Wednesday we braved the outside world and I took the kids to the Children's Museum at Navy Pier.
The kids had a fun time!
They even got to dig for fossils.
After playing in the museum we had lunch in the atrium that is attached and enjoyed the beautiful green plants that we haven't seen for so long.
After we refueled, we walked to the Lego Store on Michigan Ave. The boys could have spent all day there! Brooke finally feel asleep in the stroller while the boys browsed.
This was the same day that the schools in Appleton closed due to a terrible snow storm. So, even though the kids were sick and we didn't do much, at least we escaped the snow.
That weekend after we got back Ben's ear drum ruptured. I took him to the doctor on Monday to find out that he had pneumonia. While we were there I asked the doctor to look in Ryan's ears, only to find out that he had "one of the worst ear infections" the doctor had ever seen. So we spent Spring Break on antibiotics. Then Thursday I got the virus and spent the next weekend recovering on my own.
Did I say how excited I am for Spring?? :)

I think our past two weeks have been very similar. (ours without travel of course). Unfortunately it is STILL snowing here- as we speak in fact! I think you mentioned you were coming out this summer- we should meet up!
