Happy 1 week birthday Brooke! She is such a great baby! I don't want to jinx us, but really, she lets me get 7 hours of sleep a night and never cries. She's really alert during the day and looks at everything. She holds her head up like she is a month old. She falls right back to sleep after feeding during the night, with a good 4-5 hour stretch between two feeds. The boys love her and have adapted wonderfully. She is gorgeous and cuddly and just perfect. Of course, I could be prejudice...
Having my mom here for the past few days has been such a blessing. There's always something that needs to be done as a mom, with two of us here, we can tend the three kids and get the stuff done that needs to be done. We haven't been able to do too much sight-seeing yet, but toward the end of this week we'll try to go out more.
So the boys' favorite thing to play lately is vampires. They pretend they are vampires and growl and run through the house. Well, now that Halloween is around the corner we have discovered the face paint. Here's a picture of our first face painting attempt. They loved it and thought they were so cool. Ben even kept his tongue in his mouth so he didn't lick off the make-up. Every 5 minutes he'd run over and show us that his make-up was still on.

It is SO weird to see little Brooke in the girls things... I want to hold her and give her kisses!!! Wish I could be there. The boys are truely frightening (or they would be if they wern't grinning) Love you!
